It Takes Allsorts To Make the World Go Around

Here's to an Artistically Inclined New Year

I have been obsessing about Bassets Allsorts Candy for months now...I even daydream about the dang things...not to eat them...but instead...how I could incorporate Allsorts candies into one of my projects.

I love the way they make me feel...Happy...Happy...Happy...The design possibilities are endless...

so I went on a little shopping spree.

I bought some Polymer Clay in Allsorts of juicy colors...yummy...

Splurged on a set of Martha Stewart Microbeads & some handy dandy Glitter Glue...Fun...

Some...O...so soft wool~felt...in the brightest shades I could find...

& last but not least...some French General Fabric...sweet velvet ribbons, thrift store seam binding which I stained & aged...blue wool felt, colorful pins & a few picks of Valentines Day embellishments...

I am ready to play...& chase away...those January Blues...

My British mum loves Allsorts! I'd like them better if they didn't taste like black licorice (sorry). I do love how you translated them into fabric, fibers and other ephemera. I can't wait to see what you do with all your new supplies. I'll be back to see!!!

I used to love those, but I have allergies now, so no candy. What fun inspiration for new ideas.

I just went to Central Market (local gourmet goodies)yesterday & lusted over those candies! I am on a diet so I bought rice cakes instead...Your creations are so magical & your supplies make my heart race. May I ask where you find your wool? I have gone to every fabric store/art supply in my area & all they have is craft felt. Your colors are so yummy. Lisa
