Going Batty

My fingers were flying and the sewing machine was humming...four little bats and one big bat came into being...each one full of character and Halloween charm!
Each little Bat is perched on its own wool felt pumpkin which is attached to a distressed black painted wooden thread spool.
The three small bats are 3.5 inches tall with a wingspan of 4.5 inches...the entire piece in total is 7 inches tall.
The big Bat is 5 inches tall with a wingspan of 9 inches...the entire piece is 7 inches in height. He to is sitting on his own wool felt pumpkin with leaves and curly wire vines.
In early October I will put them all up for adoption in my Etsy store.
..its getting to be a real zoo in here...mice, rabbits, bats and cats...whats next?

Hope you are enjoying the beginnings of our fall season...leaves are dropping and my garden is slowly, slowly falling sleep.

Happy Fall
Susan

Susan... Your bats are absolutely darling. I usually do not get a chance to attend your sales. But hopefully, I can snag up one of those little guys!! :) Lovely work!
