I can't seem to get my mind off Teddies...I have been obsessed with learning all I can about how to make them, where to buy supplies, the proper tools, designing. I sit in my big old Morris chair...glasses at the end of my nose...reading all the books, magazines & articles I can find...Below are photos of a couple of miniature bears I recently finished...practice...practice...practice...they are not my own design...I give credit to Vivianne Galli of Galli Bears...I just love her patterns, you can scoot on over to her Etsy store to buy her bear kits or visit her blog called Hug Me Again...if you are a newbie like me then her kits would be a perfect place to start learning...It was interesting to watch their little characters emerge...
Warmly, Susan

Your little bears from Vivianne's pattern are wonderful. I finished her Maritimus bear but haven't gotten to Chopper yet, looks like that will be an after Christmas project. Happy Holidays!!

Did you dye the mohair? I dyed some red and I can't wait to make something, hopefully I will get a chance to this weekend!!!
Hugs to you my sweet friend and fellow bear maker!!!!

Be still my heart. Just love them. You are so very talented. I too love bears. Always wanted to try my hand at it. One of these days.

Wow, the little bears are adorable, even if they aren't of your design! I am sure you will find your own spectacular design of this..and, like you, I love Teddies!
Oh Susan, you know I love your lil critters, but these bears are so stinkin sweet! I love them both, but I adore the lil red one.
I can't wait to see what else you come up with. Wish it were not Christmas....then funds would not be so low ;)
I have always been interested in bear making and purchased distressed mohair and some books, but am afraid of the joints and such. Someday I will try. LOL
Have a great weekend.
