The Old Tin Cup

This old tin measuring cup sat in my cupboard for a very long time...it is a favorite thing of mine and now it has been made even more special...

On top of the cushion are a couple of wool felt pennies and Oak leaves.
A tiny mouse holds the Acorns in his paw...he is a bit fuzzy this time of year as he is growing out his winter coat.

I have given him a woolly scarf to keep the chill away. This little fall themed character will be up for adoption along with many others in my Etsy store come early October.
I also included the little Fry's CoCoa Cup mouse...he too will be needing a warm home for the winter!

Holy Moly two posts in two days...I admit I am rusty at posting and taking photos so I need all the practice I can get!

Sorry for my lack of replying to your comments...its been a real learning curve trying to manage my time between home responsibilities and time away at my new studio...I loves ya all and will try my bestest to pay you a visit when I can...looking forward to getting reaqainted with all of you in blogger land!

I will be posting more photos of new pieces in the next month...lots more to show you!

Till then
Susan

My 40th bday is on oct 30, and I'm thinking one of your beauties is a mighty fine gift to myself. I'll be lining up at your Etsy shop on opening day! My Mom was recently here in Calgary for a visit, and I showed her your site. She's now smitten too! What talent you have!
