Feeling Blue

Feeling Blue
I have to say that life has overwhelmed me of late...I just feel the need to share...& maybe airing my thoughts will lighten the load that I feel.

My Father in-law passed away last week...he was a real character & his family will miss him terribly. He was married to Mary for 52 years & I can only imagine what it must be like to have someone disappear from your life after spending that much time together...
I love you Luigi...I will think of you often...& don't worry...we will look after Mary...promise!!!

A Note to my friends...thats you
I want thank everyone for all the kind words you have sent my way!
It warms my heart to hear from you & I am truly blessed to have you all in my life!

I am also in the process of listing our home & am coming to grips that I will be moving again. My husband & I...after visiting Jasper National Park decided that we just can't live without the mountains we love...so we are relocating to the coastal town of Gibsons British Columbia...you might recall this name as it is the place where the old TV series the "Beach Combers was filmed. It is a bittersweet move as my parents live close by & I have made some very dear friends here in Saskatoon!
Gibson's B.C. was recently voted as the best place to live in the world with a population under 20 000 people, it has a large artist's community with numerous festivals & art related businesses.

As for my current work...I am taking some time to myself & will be withdrawing from listing on the TDIPT Mercantile for a while. If I do have new pieces available for purchase they will be listed here on my blog, Etsy or EBay. I feel a real need to play a bit...explore some new mediums...time to spread my creative wings & grow a little bit.
Take care...I shall be back soon!
Warmly, Susan

Susan,
I am sorry to hear about your father in law and my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
I have been sick for weeks now and it tends to get you down, so I am keeping busy creating things for myself and friends, we all need some me time and just have fun creating because we want to.

Susan,
You have had an awful lot going on. It's no surprise that you are "feeling blue"... it's very understandable. The loss of a loved one is always
devastating. You and your family are in our prayers. Having to pick up and move can be a very stressful decision... I know that your heart calls you to a new place, but leaving family is always so hard.
Don't feel sad. This is a new beginning for you and you will thrive and adjust well.
Hang in there, you are definitely in my thoughts~ get to feeling better!
Hugs and happy day,
Christina :)

Hello there...I'm so sorry about your dear father-in-law. My dad passed away almost two years ago, and there isn't a day that goes by that I don't cry a bit. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers...Your move sounds wonderful. New places, new faces, a brand new start...that sounds like such a good thing. I'll miss your adorable little darlings, and I'll look forward to your return to blogland. Hugs, Paulette ;)

Big Hugs coming your way Susan. Sometimes a "breather" is exactly what a person needs to get through life's hard times. You'll be okay after some time... Suzanne

Sorry about your father-in-law. It's difficult to be separated from those we love...even if it's only for a while. It's comforting to know that someday we will all be together with our loved ones again. Prayers of comfort for you & your family, especially Mary.
We will miss you more than you know during your break. Take the time you need. We will be waiting for your blogging return.
Smiles, Debbie

Susan, I am sorry for the loss of your father in law, any time a loved one goes, there is an emptiness and a sense of sadness that is sometimes overwhelming. I hope that with family and friends, and most of all the great memories, you won't feel blue for long.
I am happy that you are moving to Gibson, I haven't been there but I hear it is wonderful for artist's and it is a beautiful place to be, in the mountains!!
I wish I could help you, I can only send a big hug.....
I am thinking of you and your family.
Hugs,Margaret B

Hi Susan...I am so sorry. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
It is such a hard decision...but at certain times in our lives, we have to make choices that are best for the soul. I wish you much success in re-locating...you will love Gibsons. I hope we can see each other sometime. I will be heading to Jasper next week to teach at the Jasper Park Lodge for two weeks. I will take lots of pics...

Enjoy your creativity!
Hugs, Nancy

I began following you just as you left for a while. Now I wish to extend my sorrow to you about your father in law. I think the picture is just so fitting - perfect. I will keep an eye on your blog and hope that you soon get to feeling more like your "old self". Blessings to you and your family.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of your father-in-law. Moving is hard. We moved constantly when I was a child. I learned to look at it as a new adventure. This helped as it brought a new perspective - and sometimes excitement for what was new (to me). BC is a lovely area. I wish you the best.
