Someone "sent" me to this blog site. I grew up 2 miles west of Arelee. In the 50s there were still a few stores, a garage or two, a post office and a grades 1 through 12 school (gone now.) It was a great place to grow up and I, too, enjoy exploring the town every now and then.
Thank you for taking the time to see the beauty of Arelee, the "ghost town." And thanks for spelling the name of the town correctly. It gets misspelled frequently!

Hi Susan, there is something so sad yet intriguing about old buildings...... lots of memories somewhere....
Cheers,

I would love to salvage some of that old wood!
